My ebook is written in a style that is not scholarly, both because I am not a scholar with no desire to be and because there are so few scholars who do not already know everything worthwhile and who have not turned off to learning and questioning beliefs. In my case, volumes could be written about what I don't know and many have already, some of them centuries old. We may differ in style, perspective and semantics. I try to make clear in context where I'm speculating and I'm sure we differ on speculations, where reasonable people may. A portion of my book was published 10 years ago in the Toth-Maatian Review, edited by Dr. Milnes in Lubbock, Texas. There was little feedback, just a few requests for copies of the book.
For your information, a short profile:
In 1959 I began study and work in electronics in a Navy ETR-A school and later earned a rate of ETR-2. I then attended college for 2 years, worked for 2+ years as a field engineer in Greenland and Thailand and returned for a BSEE from Penn State in 1970. My first serious conflict with special relativity was when I derived the doppler equation to teach a factory class for the F-14 weapon system. I then returned to Viet Nam and Thailand for 2 years where I had the inspiration to use waves in analysis of the interferometer to "predict" the already observed null result. The situation was that I was working on a site in northeastern Thailand on the Mekong River and the boring journey to the work site each day was through isolated forest. For mental diversion I imagined a sniper stepping out and firing as I held a reflector at 45 degrees to the projectile path. I then got more daring and imagined a squad stepping out and firing. T my surprise, for the wave of projectiles that reflected from my mirror, the individual particles of the wave were traveling upward in a direction that was not perpendicular to the wave, ie., not transverse electromagnetic (TEM). As I continued working as a DOD engineer, until forced retirement 2 years ago, I continued to edit improvement to my theory and to seek publication which is effectively censored. Now I am surviving on a small boat in isolation from the intelligencia ( I like to think of it as a sabatical ) and searching for someone smart to talk to ( lots of luck, right? ) and watching the ducks and sea lions competing with the fishermen. A few weeks ago the sea lions were in a cluster and swimming in a circle that might have been a rain dance; that evening the rain became a pour with winds and hail, believe it or not. I am hesitant to further edit. Without discipline, I generally gain another chapter. It is much like being distracted by interesting topics when searching the encyclopedia for a specific topic.
